HITACHI STUNT TEAM

When: All 3 days of the event Where: Performances on track

Hitachi Stunt Team. Adrenalin-filled display of dangerous and spectacular motorbike stunts. Also catch them on track for some rubber burning madness in their stunt utes. You’re guaranteed the boys will be pushing it to the limit with an array of adrenaline pumping stunts. Keep your eyes peeled for these boys over the weekend

ShowTime yamaha FMX

The ShowTime FMX Freestyle Moto X Team has cemented its position as the most spectacular main arena act in the country with choreographed stunts, pyrotechnic effects and freestyle ramp jumps. The team was formed in 2000 and has since gone on to become the most experienced freestyle motocross team in Australia. Some of the best motorbike stuntmen in the country will thrill the crowds with their choreographed stunts and freestyle ramp jumps.

When: All Weekend Where: The HOT ZONE, two shows daily Friday: 12:00pm and 1:30pm Saturday: 10:45am and 2:00pm Sunday: 10:00am and 12:30pm

L&H FAMILY ZONE

Bring the kids down to the L&H Family Zone, located at Fairweather Park. There’s a range of activities present including a giant fun slide, jumping castle, face painting, fairy floss, rock climbing wall and the Billabong Sanctuary animal and reptile display.

FREE AFTER RACE CONCERT- inxs

The trackside action will rev up to fever pitch after Saturday’s racing, with international rock legends, INXS, featuring Special Guest JD Fortune playing a free after-race concert. A purpose-built stage will be erected within the track circuit so anybody attending the Sucrogen Townsville 400 on Saturday can rock up and enjoy the country’s best live act all as part of their entry. XXXX ANGELS GET READY FOR ANOTHER V8 SUPERCAR CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES!

The XXXX Angels were a huge hit during the V8 Supercar Championship Series last year, entertaining the crowds at every round with their energetic dance performances. In 2010, the group will again delight fans with their dynamic routines; catch them as they do laps of the track performing on the back of their XXXX Angels ute and on the stage of the XXXX GOLD Retreat - a huge multi-level entertaining area where fans can watch all the action from a prime viewing position. XXXX GOLD Retreat

The XXXX GOLD Retreat is the ultimate location for fans to watch and enjoy V8 Supercars racing. It is positioned beside the track, with all that you need to experience the race provided for you. It is relaxed and down to earth, has a great live view of the track with Channel 7 footage available via a big screen, a beer supply close by and of course XXXX Angels performances and appearances from our Ambassador Drivers.

THE FORD V HOLDEN SHOWDOWN

When: All 3 days of the event
Where: Inside Turn 3 near MG North

They say the Golden Era of Australian High Performance Muscle cars was 1967 – 85. So if that’s the case 50 handpicked beauties onsite during this year’s Sucrogen Townsville 400 will surely make Ford and Holden fans rejoice! The 2010 Ford Holden Showdown is back with a stunning display of Classic Original 100% Dinky Die Fair Dinkum Aussie Muscle including all the famous names of GT Falcon, GTS Monaro, Capri GT, Torana XU-1, L34 and A9X along with HDT Commodores and a special tribute to the GTHO Falcons.

Catch all of these fabulous examples trackside throughout plus a very special on track parade pre race Sunday morning.

Come down and see the Townsville Crocodiles, V8 Supercar drivers, Fujitsu V8 Supercar drivers and other local celebrities shoot it with the Townsville Crocodiles to see who will take the honour of best celebrity shot. Prizes to be donated to charity.

The Townsville Crocodiles Basketball team will be conducting basketball skills clinics that will include shooting, passing and dribbling. Kids can meet the team, win prizes and get autographs. Come along and join in the fun and meet your favourite Townsville Crocodiles player and you may even catch a glimpse of the official Crocs mascot. Ages 10-15.

Come over to The Fast Lane and see the latest in Australian Defence Force vehicles and equipment, powerboats and dragsters. There will even be a go-karting display. Come and see how nearly every V8 Supercar driver got started in motorsport.
