V8 Supercars Australia is giving North Queenslanders an opportunity to buy the first tickets to the Townsville 400. Tickets will go on sale exclusively to North Queensland residents from 9am Sunday 16th November until 5pm Tuesday 18th November (AEST).

During this exclusive presale ticket release, North Queenslanders will be at the top of the queue to purchase the best grandstand seats available. The entire family can attend the Townsville 400 with general admission tickets starting from $27 and kids aged 12 and under free.

This offer is open to all North Queensland residents from Rockhampton north and west to Mount Isa, including Longreach, Barcaldine, Emerald and Blackwater.

North Queensland residents can purchase tickets from 9am Sunday 16th November to 5pm Tuesday 18th November (AEST) by phoning Ticketek on 132 849 or visiting one of the following outlets:

Townsville TicketShop, 41 Boundary St, Townsville.
Opening Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 9am-1pm, Sun CLOSED

Centro Townsville TicketShop, Ross River Rd, Aitkenvale.
Opening Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (Thurs until 8pm), Sat 9am-1pm, Sun CLOSED

Cairns Taipans, Shop 30 Stocklands, Earlville.
Opening Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (Thurs until 8pm), Sat 9am-7pm, Sun 9am-3pm

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

During the exclusive North Queensland pre-sale period, tickets are only available through Ticketek call centres 132 849, Ticketek outlets in Townsville and Cairns and at the Official Ticket Launch event at Jupiters, 16th November, 2008. Cairns Taipans store is the only Ticketek location noted above that is open on Sunday 16th November.

Proof of residency is required - current drivers license is sufficient. North Queensland pre-sale is open to residents from Rockhampton north and west to Mount Isa, including Longreach, Barcaldine, Emerald and Blackwater.

From 9am Wednesday 19th November (AEST) tickets are available through all Ticketek outlets, via phone and website.

The following limits apply:
Grandstand tickets - ten (10) tickets per person, per transaction. Any additional tickets will be cancelled.
General Admission tickets - no limit.

*Special offer: only valid for the first 5000 tickets sold at Jupiters. Limit of ten (10) lanyards/ticket holders per person. Offer only valid at Jupiters, Townsville on Sunday 16th November 2008 from 9am - 2pm (AEST). Not valid for free tickets (ie. free entry for kids 12 and under)
