N’ Roses Down Under this December for the heart-thumping ride at the Sydney
Telstra 500. More than 185,000 people are expected to pack the hugely
anticipated event, featuring the grand final of the V8 Supercar Championship
Series plus one of the world’s biggest international
rock
acts!
The streets of Sydney Olympic Park will ignite over three days as V8 Supercars
push the limits at the season’s final battle. Screaming fans will be welcomed to
the jungle by bad boy Axl Rose on Saturday night at ANZ Stadium during an
exclusive Sydney performance.
It doesn’t get much bigger than the 2010 Sydney Telstra 500, 3-5 December.

Jamie Whincup of TeamVodafone was crowned the 2009 V8 Supercar champion in front
of thousands of fans who converged on pit lane for the podium presentation.
Highlights included all the thrills and spills of both the V8 Supercars and the
four support categories on the challenging new circuit, two incredible live
music concerts including Aussie legends Cold Chisel, plus myriad off-track
activities around the precinct such as appearances by Roary the Racing Car,
driver autograph sessions, freestyle motocross and the Fuso V8 Supercar Indoor
Padddock.
Local boy James Courtney, of Jim Beam Racing, celebrated victory today in the second 250km race at Sydney and final race of the year.
